Terms & Conditions

The following guidelines, validity, interpretation, consideration, party obligation, mode of performance, and the discharge of the obligation spelt out in this Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding contract between the customer (“you”) and Audio House Marketing Pte Ltd and apply to the ordering purchase, fulfilment and delivery or collection of goods (“Goods”) from audiohouse.com.sg. By placing an order for Goods from Audio House, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. DEFINITIONS

In the Terms and Conditions: “Account” means a personal Membership Account created by you on the Website; “Additional Delivery Charges” has the meaning given in Section 3.3; “Delivery Charges” and International Delivery have the meaning given in Section 3.4; “Order” means an order for Goods, placed on the Website; “Password” means the password needed to access your Membership Account; “Pre-Order” means an Order placed to reserve a product that is not in stock at the time the order is placed; “Restricted Goods” means Goods which are only intended to be viewed, played, listened to or otherwise utilised by a person of at least a certain age; and “Website” means audiohouse.com.sg.

2. YOUR USE OF AUDIO HOUSE ONLINE

Use of Audio House Online is limited to parties that can lawfully enter into and form contracts under the laws of Singapore. As such, you may not misuse Audio House Online. You may use Audio House Online only as permitted by applicable Regulations. You must not use Audio House Online:


(i) in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, Audio House Online, or any access to it, to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way;
(ii) for fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offence or other unlawful activity;
(iii) or to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety.

The licences granted by Audio House under these Conditions would terminate if you do not comply with these Conditions and any other Applicable Terms. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate Membership Accounts or remove or edit content if you are in breach of applicable Regulations, these Conditions or any other Applicable Terms

3. PRICING & TAXES

3.1 Prices of Goods are as displayed on the Website.
3.2 Audio House reserves the right to change the prices of Goods at any time without prior notice.
3.3 In addition to the prices of Goods, you will also need to pay the advertised Delivery Charges and Installation or Service charges (if any).
3.4 Delivery Charges are for Goods deliver to addresses within Singapore; International Delivery is not available.
3.5 By placing an Order, you agree to pay for the price of the Goods, any Delivery Charges, and any Installation or Service Charges.
3.6 All prices, Delivery Charges and Installation or Service Charges quoted are in Singapore dollars and are inclusive of GST.
3.7 All Delivery Charges do not include disposal of side-by-side and 4 to 6 door fridges.

4. AUDIO HOUSE MEMBERSHIP

4.1 Please ensure that you enter all information carefully when registering a Membership Account. You warrant to Audio House that all information provided by you in relation to your Membership Account is complete, true and correct.
4.2 All eCashback issued by Audio House can only be used at Audio House e-commerce and showroom platforms.
4.3 eCashback is valid for 10 years from the issued date.
4.4 eCashback mechanics are subject to changes at the discretion of Audio House management.
4.5 You must notify Audio House immediately if you become aware of any actual or potential unauthorised use of your Membership Account or Password.
4.6 Except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law (including, without limitation, the Singapore Consumer Law), Audio House will not be liable to you, or any other person, for any losses, damage, incurred cost or expense suffered as a direct or indirect result of: (i) your Membership Account information being incomplete or inaccurate; or (ii) any unauthorised use of your Membership Account or Password which has taken place before you notify Audio House, whether in contract, negligence or any other tort, equity, restitution, strict liability, under statute or in any respects otherwise.
4.7 In the event that Audio House suffers any losses, damage, incurred cost or expense as a result of any unauthorised use of your Membership Account or Password which takes place before you notify Audio House, you are obligated to pay Audio House on demand the amount of the losses, damage, incurred cost or expense.

5. ORDERS

5.1 You can place an Order on Audio House website by clicking on the desired product and selecting the required services before checking out.
5.2 An Order submitted by you is considered as your intent to purchase the Goods for the price plus the Delivery Charges as shown at the time of submission of your Order and include any applicable Installation or Service Charges. Audio House may accept or reject your offer at its absolute discretion. In particular but without limitation, Audio House may reject Orders for commercial quantity purchase of Goods.
5.3 Each Order that you place will, if accepted by Audio House, be a separate and binding agreement between you and Audio House with respect to the supply of the relevant Goods, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
5.4 If you place an Order for someone else to receive the Goods you must obtain their consent before providing Audio House with their personal information and, by placing an Order, you confirm to Audio House that you have carried out this measure.
5.5 Please ensure that you enter all information carefully when placing an Order. You warrant to Audio House that all information provided by you in relation to each Order is complete, true and accurate.
5.6 Please check your Order carefully (including the quantity ordered) before submitting it because Order may not be able to be changed or cancelled once Audio House has accepted the Order. Audio House will use reasonable endeavours to cancel or change the Order if it has not already been shipped but makes no representation that it will be able to do this.
5.7 Except to the extent otherwise required by law, Audio House will not be liable to you, or any other person, for any losses, damage, incurred cost or expense suffered as a direct or indirect result of your Order information being incomplete or inaccurate or as a result of being unable to change or cancel your Order once it has been accepted by Audio House, whether in contract, negligence or any other tort, equity, restitution, strict liability, under statute or in any respects otherwise.
5.8 Where your Orders are placed separately, the Goods will be delivered separately and individual Delivery Charges will apply to each Order. It is Audio House policy and procedures that do not allow separate Orders to be consolidated into one delivery.
5.9 You acknowledge that all Goods that you Order are intended for personal, domestic and non-commercial use only.
5.10 The internet can be an unstable and sometimes insecure marketplace. At times, the facility to place Orders may not be available and your Order might not be received, your Order may be lost or misdirected, or your Order might be delayed.
5.11 You must take your own precaution to ensure that the process which you employ for accessing the Website does not expose you to risk of viruses, malicious computer code or other forms of interference which may damage your computer system, and contains appropriate protection to prevent damage to your computer system caused by viruses, malicious computer code or other forms of interference.
5.12 Except to the extent otherwise required by law, Audio House will not be liable to you, or any other person, for any losses, damage, incurred cost or expense arising out of or in connection with you accessing the Website, whether in contract, negligence or any other tort, equity, restitution, strict liability, under statute or in any respects otherwise.

6. AFTER YOU HAVE SUBMITTED AN ORDER / PAYMENT

6.1 When you submit an Order, Audio House may, in its sole and absolute discretion, accept or reject any offer or purchase made by you for any reason or without any no reason, including any error in the advertised price for, or description of goods or services on the website, or an error of any kind in or relating to your Order.
6.2 You will receive an Order reference number via e-mail from Audio House as soon as you have confirmed your Order and made payment.
6.3 Audio House will process payment for your Order when or shortly after you place your Order. Your Order is deemed to be accepted by Audio House when Audio House does this. However, Audio House may, in certain circumstances, cancel your Order after acceptance as set out in these Terms & Conditions. In the event that Audio House cancels your Order having already processed payment, it will refund you the full payment. This Section 6.3 does not apply for Pre-Orders, which you are paying for by credit card.
6.4 Audio House will take full payment if you are paying for a Pre-Order. If the Pre-Order item is not available, Audio House will refund you the payment in full.
6.5 When Audio House accepts an Order, it represents an agreement by Audio House to supply the Goods to you in accordance with your Order subject to receiving payment from you and these Terms and Conditions.
6.6 You must pay for Goods using credit/debit card (Visa or Mastercard or AMEX) / eNETS / PayNow / GrabPay / Kris+ / FavePay / ShopeePay together with Audio House eCashback (if any) that you have gained. By providing your credit card/payment card/gift card details, you authorise Audio House to deduct the price and the applicable Delivery Charges from such card.
6.7 Audio House reserves the right to change the payment methods that can be used for Orders at any time in its absolute discretion.
6.8 Audio House may not be able to, or may decline to, accept payment from you by your nominated payment method at any time for any reason including, without limitation: (a) where our fraud detection systems detect possible irregularities; (b) because your financial institution has declined payment; or (c) because your payment card has expired. Where this is the case, Audio House reserves the right to cancel your Order and/or place your Order on hold and request you to provide additional information (for example, proof of identity documents) or arrange payment with another method.
6.9 Goods that you have ordered will not be dispatched to you until your payment for the Goods has been cleared. If your payment cannot be processed, your Order will be rejected and we will notify you by email.
6.10 Charges for completed Delivery, Installation and Service are non-refundable.
6.11 Audio House will not hesitate to take legal actions in the case of the following: (a) Users attempt to change, add to, remove, deface, hack or otherwise interfere with the Site or any material or content displayed on the Site; (b) Users access or use the Site in any way that could or is intended to damage or impair the Site, or any server or network underlying the Site, or interfere with anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site. (c) Fraudulent use of credit card; the liability will be on the user for any fraudulent use of credit card and the onus to prove otherwise shall be the exclusive responsibility of the user. Audio House reserves the right to terminate the services or part thereof, with or without cause at any time. We shall not be liable for any damages, losses, cost or expenses howsoever caused by arising out of termination of any part of the services, to you or any other individual. This termination may apply to the voiding of the sale of all products on the Site, regardless of whether payment has been made (in which case the payment shall be refunded to the customer or the issue resolved on a case-by-case basis). The cancelling, blocking or denying of a sale or purchase can be effectuated in the event of suspected fraud, hacking or technical or server complications.

7. CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

7.1 Audio House reserves the right to cancel, at any time before delivery and for whatever reason, an Order that it has previously accepted.
7.2 Where Audio House cancels your Order after acceptance, an email will be sent to you to notify you of the cancellation.
7.3 In the event of Audio House or you cancelling the Order after payment has been processed, Audio House will refund any money paid in respect of that Order.
7.4 Except to the extent otherwise required by law as expressly set out in these terms and conditions, Audio House will not be liable to you, or any other person, for any losses, damage, incurred cost or expense suffered as a direct or indirect result of the cancellation of your Order, whether in contract, negligence or any other tort, equity, restitution, strict liability, under statute or in any respects otherwise.

8. AVAILABILITY OF GOODS

8.1 As Audio House is dependent upon its Suppliers for the supply of Goods, Audio House cannot guarantee stock availability at all times.
8.2 You acknowledge and agree that, from time to time, certain Goods may be temporarily or permanently out of stock or discontinued.
8.3 Audio House reserves the right to withdraw or suspend from sale any Goods displayed on the Website, either temporarily or permanently at any time without prior notice.
8.4 Except to the extent otherwise required by law, Audio House will not be liable to you, or any other person, for any losses, damage, incurred cost or expense suffered as a direct or indirect result of the unavailability of any Goods at any time, whether in contract, negligence or any other tort, equity, restitution, strict liability, under statute or in any respects otherwise.

9. DELIVERY

9.1 It is important that you pay attention to Risk and Title to the Goods transferred to you on the delivery date and time slot of the Goods and to the delivery address provided in your Order.
9.2 Goods will only be delivered to addresses within Singapore.
9.3 You may opt for self-collection of goods ordered at Audio House Hub (23 Ubi Road 4, Audio House Building, #01-01, Singapore 408620).
9.4 Delivery Charges include basic installation but exclude additional wiring or socket extension installation as well as any other 3rd party service charges which are applied separately.
9.5 Upon completion of delivery, you are required to sign a proof of delivery document.
9.6 If you require the Goods that you have ordered to be re-directed to an address which is not the original Order address, Audio House may charge you a reasonable fee for doing this.
9.7 For all products other than consumer electronics products, stock labelled with banner ribbon “Preorder” on the Website implies stock count may be low or currently unavailable. The Goods will be ordered from the respective suppliers. Once there are stocks available, Audio House will inform you and make arrangement for delivery or self-collection. On the other hand, stocks with no banner ribbon indication imply stocks are available and Audio House aims to have the Goods self-collected or delivered to you within 5 business days (some goods might be self-collected or delivered significantly quicker than that).
9.8 Washer, Dishwasher & Dryer: Free Basic Installation that includes connecting the provided water inlet hose to existing water tap only for washer and dishwasher. It excludes installation of water tap, power point and wall mounting. Additional charges apply if provided water inlet hose is not compatible with the existing water tap. Water inlet host and parts are sold separately.
9.9 All Aircon List Prices including Installation charges apply to standard basic installation with standard piping length provided for HDB flat only. Additional charges may apply for HDB Jumbo Flat and Maisonette, HUDC Flat, Executive Condominium, Private Condominium, Landed Property and Commercial Shop House depending on the size of the house/building and complexity of piping run are subject to site survey in order to ascertain these factors. Aircon stocks availability is not guaranteed at the time of purchase. In the event if your order has been processed and the item is unavailable, we will offer an alternative or provide a refund. No refund is allowed after installation.
9.10 HiFi products prices include only basic installation, and exclude the running of cables and hanging or mounting of speakers.

10. IN-STORE PICK UP OF GOODS

10.1 Many Goods can be picked up from Audio House showroom at Ubi rather than being delivered to you. If you wish to do this, you will need to choose this option when placing your Order. Please note that some Goods are not available for pick up from the showroom.
10.2 Only the authorised Audio House Membership Account holder who ordered the Goods may pick up the Goods at our showroom.
10.3 If you choose to pick up your Order at our showroom, you can do so after 3 working days from the date of placing the order. As Goods are subject to stock availability, please WhatsApp message us or call us to check on stock availability before making a trip to our showroom.
10.4 When picking up the Goods at our showroom: (a) you must provide photo identification of yourself (current driver licence or passport) to the showroom staff for verification. If requested, you must allow Audio House to take a copy of the identification for fraud prevention purposes. The copy will not be used by Audio House for any other purpose or disclosed to any person outside of Audio House; (b) showroom staff will also verify the credit/debit/payment card used to purchase the Goods. You must therefore ensure that you bring along the credit/debit/payment card used for the purchase when picking up the Goods; (c) showroom staff reserve the right to refuse collection of Goods if you cannot or will not satisfy the requirements set out above. If this happens, Audio House will contact the person who placed the Order using the contact details provided for verification.
10.5 In respect of the estimated time for collection, references to “same day” or “next day” on the Website refer to weekdays and exclude weekends and public holidays.

11. DELAY IN AVAILABILITY OR DELIVERY OF GOODS

You agreed and acknowledged that: (a) Audio House does not guarantee the delivery or stock availability of Goods; (b) events outside of Audio House’s control may cause delays; other force majeure causes of delay or in some circumstances, prevent your Goods from being delivered or available for pick-up at our showroom; (c) delays are particularly likely to occur around Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and public holidays; and (d) except to the extent expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions or otherwise required by law, neither Audio House nor any of its agents will be liable to you, or any other person, for any losses, damage, incurred cost or expense suffered as a direct or indirect result of any delay in delivery of the Goods to you or delay in the availability of Goods for picking up at our showroom, whether in contract, negligence or any other tort, equity, restitution, strict liability, under statute or in any respects otherwise.

12. REFUNDS OF YOUR MONEY

12.1 Where Audio House is obliged to refund your payment pursuant to these Terms and Conditions, Audio House aims to initiate your refund within around 30 days. The additional time that it takes for you to actually receive your refund will depend upon how quickly your banking financial institution processes the refund.
12.2 For credit card refund, the amount will be credited back to the card account within around 1 month depending upon how quickly the banking financial institution that issued your credit card processes the refund. Payment by Cash/NETS will be refunded by cheque within approximately 1 month.
12.3 Except to the extent otherwise required by law, Audio House will not be liable to you, or any other person, for any losses, damage, incurred cost or expense suffered as a direct or indirect result of any delay in you receiving any refund due to you, whether in contract, negligence or any other tort, equity, restitution, strict liability, under statute or in any respects otherwise

13. RETURNS OF FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS

13.1 You should check your Goods as soon as they are delivered to you in order to ensure that: (a) they are what you ordered; and (b) they are not damaged or faulty. If this is not the case you should contact Audio House as soon as possible.
13.2 If you have a problem with any Goods or otherwise wish to return them please refer to Audio House’s Returns Policy which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Please note that, in addition to contacting the manufacturer or any Audio House store, you can also contact us.
13.3 When returning Goods: (a) please provide Audio House with your proof of purchase; (b) it is a requirement for the fulfilment of refunds, exchanges and warranties that Customers use their best endeavours to return all out-of-the-box accessories (such as power cords and batteries) supplied at the time of original purchase. Customers are also encouraged to use the original packaging where possible in order to avoid damage in transit. Goods refund must be in RESALEABLE condition & packaging.
13.4 You are not entitled to any refund or exchange if is just the packaging that is damaged in transit. The packaging exists for the purpose of protecting the product so that it may safely reach the customer without losing its utility.
13.5 Display sets are sold as seen and verified as in working conditions in the showroom. Once sold and delivered or collected, display sets are not entitled to refund. IT, camera, hygiene and perishable items are not entitled to refund or exchange once the packaging is opened.
13.6 No refund is allowed for installed Aircon units.

14. RETURN POLICY

14.1 Audio House offers a 7-day Return Policy in accordance with request made within 7 days from the date of delivery or self-collection. The 7-day Refund Policy applies to goods that are in its original condition and the packaging remains in a good as new state and you will be responsible for the cost of bringing the goods to us.
14.2 Refund for the value of the goods (excludes Delivery, Installation and Service Charges) will be made upon our receipt of the returned goods. For opened products, only 60% of the purchased item price (excludes Delivery, Installation and Service Charges) will be refunded. Refund will be issued via the credit card or original mode of payment used for the purchase.
14.3 For credit card refund, the amount will be credited back to the card account within around 1 month. The additional time that it takes for you to actually receive your refund will depend upon how quickly the banking financial institution that issued your credit card processes the refund.
14.4 Payment by Cash/NETS will be refunded by cheque within approximately 1 month.
14.5 Audio House reserves the right to reject any refund deemed unfit or unreasonable. All display sets are not refundable or exchangeable.

15. PRICE MATCH POLICY

15.1 If you have purchased an item at Audio House and found the exact same brand, model and colour of the item retailing for a lower price at another authorized dealer in Singapore within 7 days from the date of delivery or self-collection of the item. Audio House will match the lower price listed for the same product (same model, brand, and color) by any authorized dealer in Singapore.
15.2 Price Match is subject to proof of the price difference. The following information are required to expedite the price match verification. (a) The most recent photo of the authorized dealer’s price tag with the lower price; (b) A screenshot and the website link to the product listing by the authorized dealer.
15.3 Audio House will not price match Discount codes, Vouchers, Delivery charges, Installation charges, Disposal charges, Prices for products on Time Sale / limited sets promotion. (e.g. Buy a LG 55” TV at $799! Only 10 units available.)
15.4 Audio House Members can only purchase 1 unit of each price-matched item.
15.5 Price Match is not applicable for products listed under Food & Beverages and Home Living categories.
15.6 Promotions and discounts offered by Audio House do not apply to Price Match items.
15.7 If the Price Match request is made before purchase, members can buy the item at the lower price from our showroom. The request must be made in person at our showroom together with the required proof of the price difference.
15.8 If the Price Match request is made after purchase: The Price Match difference will be refunded as Credit to the Audio House member’s account within 3 working days. Credit has no expiry date and is considered cash equivalents with no minimum spend required for usage. The request must be made within 7 days from the date of delivery or self-collection of the item. Requests will not be accepted from the 8th day onwards.
15.9 The eCashback amount awarded will depend on the final Price Match amount, with a $20 eCashback given with every $100 spent.

16. AIRCON INSTALLATION AND WARRANTY POLICY

16.1 All Aircon List Prices including Installation charges apply to standard basic installation with standard piping length provided for HDB flat only. Additional charges may apply for HDB Jumbo Flat and Maisonette, HUDC Flat, Executive Condominium, Private Condominium, Landed Property and Commercial House depending on the size of the house/building and complexity of piping run which are subject to site survey in order to ascertain these factors,
16.2 All List Prices exclude longer piping run, stainless steel bracket, power point, and any other additional services such as cutting and patching of false ceiling and scaffolding services.
16.3 All Aircon Installation will be subject to time slot availability.
16.4 Cancellation of Installation or Change of Installation Date: (a) Advance notice is required for confirmation of installation date and subject to slot availability. (b) Advance notice is required for any cancellation of order or change of installation date. Change of installation date is subject to slot availability. (c) A surcharge of $150 will be imposed for postponement of installation on same day of installation date or one day before installation date. 16.5 Dismantling charges for old aircon units by Installer ranges from $100 to $150 while dismantling and disposal is complimentary.
16.6 Audio House does not provide service for dismantling, installation and cover up of materials exposed in concealed areas like wall, and box up/built-in furnishings.
16.7 Installer does not provide floor protection sheets for dismantling and installation works. Installer will only clear up dirt and debris, and does not provide area cleaning up service post dismantling and installation works.
16.8 Faulty Parts Replacement: (a) In the event of faulty compressor and fan coil, only affected parts will be replaced by agent. (b) Certified agent technician will only bring along new parts for replacing the affected parts.
16.9 One Year Warranty for Installation of Piping: (a) Repair and parts replacement are warranted against poor workmanship and defects for a 12-month period from the date of repair service rendered (i.e. Gas leakage, leaking water pipe). (b) The warranty shall cease immediately and render void if the appliance is found to be tampered and modified as well as repaired by an unauthorised person or if the serial number is defaced and removed. c) The warranty does not cover any forms of condensation.
16.10 One Year Repair Warranty Shall Be Subject to the Following Limitations and Exclusions: (a) Malfunctions or damages resulting from natural disaster, fire, civil unrest and/or accidents. (b) Defects from using wrong electrical supply, misuse or damage by negligence and abuse. (c) Usage in places where the air is polluted with dust particles or chemical fumes. (d) Normal wear and tear, condensation, corrosion, rusting or stains. (e) Water leakage due to blockage of drainpipe based on normal use. (e) All defects must be reported promptly. (f) The warranty does not cover transport charges incurred for checking defects not under warranty. (g) Incidental or consequential damages are specifically excluded by this warranty. (h) No WARRANTY will be covered if existing piping are reused.

17. PROMOTION

17.1 Promotion mechanics are applied for single receipts only i.e. minimum purchase must be met in one single purchase receipt.
17.2 If member chooses to use eCashback to offset their purchases, they will not be entitled to gain further eCashback or additional promotions.
17.3 Promotion mechanics are only applicable only for participating brands and models.
17.4 Gain and use of eCashback are only applicable for participating brands and models.
17.5 Audio House reserves the right to change the promotion T&Cs at any time without prior notice.

18. MORE INFORMATION ABOUT AUDIO HOUSE LIABILITY TO YOU

To the full extent permitted at law, Audio House is not liable for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of bargain, loss of savings, loss of data, loss or goodwill, loss of reputation, the cost of obtaining replacement or alternative goods or the cost of other remedial measures, or for any indirect, special, economic or consequential losses arising in connection with any Order or Membership Account.

19. PRIVACY

Audio House policy on the collection, use and disclosure of customers’ personal information is set out in its Privacy Policy which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

20. WEBSITE TERMS

Your use of the Website is governed by the Website Terms of Sale.

21. GENERAL

20.1 Audio House reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendment will take effect from the time it appears on the Website. The Terms and Conditions which apply at the time that you place your Order are the Terms and Conditions which will apply to your Order.
20.2 Any provision in this agreement which is invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction is to be read down for the purpose of that jurisdiction, if possible, so as to be valid and enforceable, and otherwise shall be severed to the extent of the invalidity or unenforceability, without affecting the remaining provisions of this agreement or affecting the validity or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction.
20.3 The guidelines, validity, interpretation, consideration, party obligation, mode of performance, and the discharge of the obligation that are spelt out in this Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore.
